Why be involved?
It's great fun and it's a chance to raise money for charity and raise the profile by advertising your organisation or business.
How can I get involved?
Come along to the functions & events, enter a team, have a pitch at the Car Boot Sale, a stall at the fair and enter a CarnivalFloat.
How can I enter?
An entry form is enclosed and additional forms can be obtained from: Fur Fin 'N' Feather and Partridges, High Street, Hadleigh or contact the Lions (Tel: 01473 824448)
What's a float?
It’s up to you ! This year the theme is 'The Movies' and should cater for any size of organisation whether you're a lone Charlie Chaplin or the entire cast of Ben Hur. In addition, the judging categories have been changed to cover different sizes of float so you can enter as anything from a single walker or wheelchair with the procession (as long as you're dressed up!) eg Marilyn Monroe or Superman, a bicycle, car, tractor or van to a full size artic’ (See entry forms for further details). Also, judging will be en-route to reduce the waiting time at the start of the procession.

Fri June 15th
All are welcome to the Crowning of the Queen ceremony to be held on Friday 15th of June in the Hadleigh Guildhall, there will be cheese and wine and an opportunity to chat to the organisers and other entrants about how the event is organised. Tickets are £5 in advance and £7:50 on the door.
Mon July 9th
Come along and join us for a game of Bingo, 7:30 in the Guildhall.
Tues July 10th
A very popular event, the Darts Tournament will be held at the British Legion Club in George street, all are welcome.
Wed July 11th
You will need to book early for this very popular event, booking forms can be collected from Fur Fin 'N' Feather and Partridges, Lions (Tel: 01473 824448).
Thurs July 12th
Music in the George! A live band and fine ale, should make this an excellent night out.
Fri July 13th
Friday is set aside for dressing the group floats, the Curtain sided trucks will be allocated to all the groups that request them, but remember we will need all your details in before the closing day.
Sat July 14th
